In order to gain efficiencies in our storyboard processing we decided to create character brushes in Gimp. Here is the first tutorial done by David Purchase on how to create these brushes. Creating brushes has now helped us delegate the storyboarding process to other team members while having a consistent look through out the storyboard. This was one of the primary goals in the approach we took. Also, fixing our emotions to the 9 different emotions as characterized in the Indian dance format, it made the process managable.
We also needed to train the other team-members into the process as they may be motivated to add some more brushes based on their need to set up a shot. Indentifying that need, David created a bunch of tutorials. This is the first of the tutorials.
