Thank you for taking the time to review our site and the “Prince Harming to Prince Charming” project. We know that what we do is one day going to be beneficial to the animator population as a whole. The price of entry into the animation field is one of the biggest hurdles for animators to enter the field. Thanks to projects like Blender (www.blender.org) which have it possible start that journey into animation, by providing a world-class tool. However, the next big challenge for the animator is setting up his work environment as we know, it takes more than a single machine and a single application to make animation.
So, if you are good at any of the open-source tools used in animation. We would love to have you participate on the project. You will notice that we are a bunch of fun people, who work in a cordial environment. You will be part of a team who amazing talent matches their die-hard passion for the animation. As we will soon be starting our work on Prince Harming to Prince Charming animation short, we are looking for animators to animate the shots. We anticipate each animator will animate roughly 2 to 3 shots out of the entire animation short. You will be paired up with an experience Blender animator who will teach you how to animate in it. The ideal candidate would be someone who has received formal training to be an animator using programs like Maya. Blender experience would be a definite plus, but not required. (We will teach you to be animators in Blender.) Please email us links to your demo reel, we would love to see them.
